  1. I came here for a review. Instead I get a video of a vocal minority that doesn't involve reviewing really at all. Just ranting. There are many things this video could have been called. a review should not have been one of them.

  2. Resounding waste of time.

  3. Mohammed Azeem

This is more like a hate video, mine works fine in 4k.

  4. Jaysen Airey

I use chromecast so i hate amazon fire tv. Good review that was

  5. So, no good then..?

  6. with my 1Gb internet connection and with the slowest speed of 300Mbps I still can't get amazon fire tv 2nd gen to show 4k 🙁

  7. Detroit's Reaper

can this use kodi like a normal fire stick

  8. this guy never really gave this product a chance in 30 min of having this product got it setup with many extras don't listen to this guy, 4k is not the only reason to have this, cant confirm the 4k but everything else is great.

  9. got mine today its awesome

  10. Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of the Chromecast, but more and more, I'm looking for a way to allow guests to access content on my TV without having to download an app to their phone and connect to my WiFi. Pick up a remote and just start clicking or speak a selection. I purchased the new version of the Amazon Fire TV 4K and it works flawlessly, blowing my uncle's Apple TV out of the water for sheer content and performance and Chromecast doesn't even compare once you download the AllCast app. Your failure to admit that it's possible you may have gotten just a bad unit that needed to be RMA'd or that there is even a remote chance that some of your equipment wasn't exactly compatible in addition to your obvious leaning towards Google products made this review completely biased and irrelevant to a consumer who is considering a purchase. You also didn't even mention how great the Fire TV is for streaming local content via apps like Plex. Fire TV has been reviewed as the single best Plex streamer, bar none. Please work towards making more honest and even-keeled reviews. Your subscribers will appreciate you for it.

  11. The video review seems very bias!

  12. You have absolutely no clue of what you are reviewing or talking about. The Fire TV supports 4K transmission if your TV supports 4K. This is not a UHD device. If you have an HDMI cable that supports 4K transmission AND connected to a 4K TV the content looks great. If you play 4K movies, it looks unbelievable. Respectfully I think you don't even know what you are talking about or reviwing

  13. does it have internet browser. thanks

My box runs 1080p just fine, even with a range extender and Ethernet hub. You either have a bad box or you don't know what you're saying. Also, the 4k only runs at 30fps, which you didn't mention, suggesting to me the latter, no matter how you pronounce "rodeo."

I received my Fire TV 4K today and it works just fine. Setup took a couple of minutes and 4K content works just fine too. Soon as it was up and running I was able to watch Man in the High Castle and it switched to 4K within 2 minutes. So not sure what you mean by "it doesn't work" because it does. The mic works great for me, has yet to get anything I've said wrong. This really isn't a good review. Works great for me and many others.

  17. Aziz Videographer

What are you talking about ? Fire tv made me replace my Apple TV

  18. Thanks, was considering a purchase but I'll pass

  19. Charles Harper

I have 3 of these and 5min setup / start up and flawless 4k

  20. PuggiTheGreat

Your 4K TV must have an HDMI 2.0 port (not HDMI 1.4) and, crucially, HDCP 2.2.

Plus, even my Five TV Stick plays HD content fine so I don't see why his device won't stream !?
