  1. How many years have you Guys had your PSPs?

    Just curious

  2. Should I ask for a psp for Xmas I never had one but it looks really cool I
had a dsi the worst hand held system ever the graphics are horrible but the
dsi lasted for hour does the psp last for hours

  3. RIP in Peace P(eni)SP. Y u get rekt so quickly? PSP now 420 blzin it w/

  4. TehPrestigiousWizard

I have one complaint with this review, you forgot to mention that the umds,
though easily damaged compared to the ds game carts, held SOOOOOOOOOOOOO
much more data than the nintedo ds. I have only seen ds roms 1/4 of a
gigabyte, and a gigabyte is below average for a psp game. Therefore, psp
games are far superior to ds games, but are harder to make.

  5. I honestly dont understand the fuss about the UMD’s. Sure, they’re
pointless, useless and all around redundant. But in all honestly, i’ve got
the E-1004 series one, and i can honestly shake and wobble the system about
to no end with a UMD disk inside, and there’s no problems with it… No
skipping, no “Disc could not be read” errors or anything

  6. The good interesting games are:

    SMT Persona 1
    SMT Persona 2 Innocent Sin
    SMT Persona 3 Portable
    Silent Hill Origins
    Silent Hill Shattered Memories
    Rockman Irregular Hunter X
    Rockman Powered Up
    Corpse Party
    Corpse Party Book of Shadows
    Disgaea series
    Dissidia Final Fantasy
Dissidia 012 Duodecim (including Prologue too)
    Dynasty Warriors series
    Blazblue Calamity Trigger Portable
    Blazblue Continuum Shift II
Final Fantasy series (Including Crisis Core too)
    God of War series
    Soul Calibur IV Broken Destiny
    GTA series
    Mortal Kombat Unchained
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus
    Tekken 6
    Warriors Orochi
    Warriors Orochi 2
    Parasite Eve The 3rd Birthday
    Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
    Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
    Metal Gear Ac!d 1
    Metal Gear Ac!d 2

Best games on the go but it’s just bad the markets sold them quickly making
the games rare that you wanted so bad so if I missed a couple feel free to
comment of the best games on the PSP

  7. +Lord Karnage Now what are your thoughts on the psp go?

  8. I kinda disagree with some of the views expressed here. Yes umd movies were
kinda a bad idea, the main problem with umd movies were their prices. I
belive that if they had priced them lower they might have had better
results. The umd format doesnt skip unless you shake the heck out of the
unit. Unless you are attempting to simulate an earthquake that would make
sense of the shaking. I have had my psp for years now with no problems. I
    enjoy it a lot.

  9. Matthew Martinez

My sister broke my psp 3001 5 years ago I loved it so much !

  10. Should have seen downloadable games coming?! It’s still not commonplace!
The little disk umd thing was a perfectly reasonable way to sell games –
cheap to produce, loads of space.

To download a, lets say 500mb game in 2004, I would’ve probably been
waiting a couple of hours. Other people would have been waiting
indefinitely – there were still plenty of people on dial-up, and plenty
more people with no internet at all.

These umd disks were the only affordable option.

  11. The Majastic Creature

you know you don+t need to turn it off to remove the umd

  12. *Listens to Man compare PSP to Game Gear & Lynx, rolls eyes*

  13. I remember how much these things cost when they first came out and now you
can buy a PS vita for $100 and a PSP 3001 for $40

  14. i always thought the UMD was neat.I don’t like digital downloads.

  15. Mine broke :(

  16. Furries And Ponies™

i still got my psp (+[__]∙:∙)

  17. I still have my PSP. It’s the original model, still works fine. I must be
very lucky, as I’ve never had a disc read error.
I love it, especially since I only had to pay to get games for it, because
I got my PSP for free. The back in 2005 at the first university I went to
school at had a poker club. It was free to join and play, and the
university gave the club money for prizes for each weakly tournament and
the big semester end tournament that only the top 40 players from the
    semester could be in.
I got second in one of the semester end tournaments that year, and the
original PSP was the second place prize. That was a good year; I won a lot
    of stuff that year.

  18. themysteriousfigure0

I never had a problem with my UMDs.

  19. PSP and PS2 were the best consoles ever

  20. I’ve bought a used PSP 3001 on a car boot sale 3 years ago, and the only
problem I ever found with it was the battery life. But that didn’t bother
me that much. I love my PSP, and after selling my Nintendo DS lite (which
was a huge mistake), I found that this is also an amazing portable.

  21. I have a question does the model type matter to playing the playstation
    portable games?

  22. I can so relate to blowing on cartridges just to get them to work. Putting
them in the freezer usually helps too.

  23. Nicolas senechal

  24. PS Vita fixes with, what I call, “Sony SD’s”. Because Sony hasn’t figured
out yet that slightly-modified-proprietary-crap PISSES PEOPLE OFF.

  25. Niqqa shut yo mouth and quit bitching, I have owned 7 PSP’s and haven’t
gotten a single error message.(except for a crash every few months)
